An Intimate Chelsea Town Hall Wedding with a Huge Coincidence.

✨ Meet Stella

Stella’s wedding morning was a little different from the usual bridal preparations and that’s exactly what made it so special.

Before heading into London for an intimate ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall, Stella arrived at my studio at 6am on a Tuesday morning with her best friend. The plan? Hair and makeup with me, then straight onto the train into London ready to say “I do.”

This legal ceremony was the first of two celebrations. A month later, Stella and her partner would be hosting a much larger wedding in France but this London moment kicked off the celebrations.

✨ The Bridal Vision

Stella’s bridal style was effortlessly chic and modern. We didn’t have time to schedule in a trial ahead of her wedding, so Stella was putting her hair, face and trust in me!

Her hair was styled into a sleek ponytail, keeping the look polished and contemporary while still feeling relaxed enough for a London registry office wedding. For make up, we kept things beautifully natural. Stella wanted to look like herself, just a little elevated for the occasion. Soft, glowing skin and minimal make up enhanced her natural features while keeping the overall look fresh and timeless.

She wore a stunning above-the-knee dress, which paired perfectly with the modern hair and natural makeup. The whole look felt sophisticated but effortless…exactly right for a stylish London ceremony.

🌸 A Beautiful Coincidence.

While chatting during her appointment, we realised something completely unexpected, we actually share a connection to the same area in France. It was one of those lovely little moments where you suddenly feel like the world is much smaller than you thought. We spent part of the morning laughing about the coincidence and swapping stories about a place that clearly means a lot to both of us. It made the morning feel even more personal and special.

When it was time for Stella to leave, she popped home to get changed and jumped on the train & tube to make her way to Chelsea Town Hall. Surrounded by commuters on an ordinary weekday morning, she stood out in the most wonderful way… a bride on her way to get married while the rest of the world carried on with their daily routine. You can imagine the curious looks and smiles from fellow passengers as they realised what was happening. Such a moment!

Although Stella’s larger French celebration was still to come, this intimate ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall was such a meaningful way to begin their marriage.

Moments like these remind me that weddings don’t always have to follow the traditional path to feel incredibly special. Sometimes the quiet, unexpected mornings (the early starts, the train rides, the small coincidences) are the ones that stay with you the longest. I’m so pleased that Stella has stayed in touch and I still get to see her in my studio when she books in for her Korean lash Lift, Brow Lamination and the odd event make up booking… you know that feeling when you just know that you were meant to meet someone? That’s how I feel about Stella! She is currently trying to convince me to join the local CrossFit gym which may take a little more persuasion.

If you're planning your wedding in Surrey, Berkshire or Hampshire and want a bridal look that feels natural, glowing and timeless, I’d love to hear from you.
