Enhancing natural beauty isn’t just my job… it’s my joy.

Welcome, I’m Ruby

A woman with long brown hair, amber eyes, and light makeup smiling with white teeth, wearing a white top with a V-neck and small earrings, posed against a plain gray background.

Natural beauty, meaningful connections & a whole lot of heart.

Hi, I’m Ruby.
Makeup artist, Hair Stylist, Business Owner, Mentor and deep believer that the smallest touches make the biggest difference.

My journey started with a fascination for beauty… not just the outside kind, but the confidence-boosting, light-you-up-from-within kind. Over the years, this fascination turned into a full-blown career and a deep passion for helping women feel like the most radiant version of themselves.

My Studio might be tidy, but my home is covered in tiny hand & paw prints.

When I’m not in my studio or packing the car for a wedding morning… I’m a fiancee, a mother to my two girls Mabel & Delilah and “dog-mom” to Frenchie, Frank.
We live just outside of Yateley, where I juggle mum life and running a business. This looks a lot like sending emails at strange hours, interacting on instagram after bedtime stories and far too many to-do lists (with a children’s doodle thrown in for good measure)

My days are a mix of:

  • Sharing advice with up-and-coming makeup artists

  • Creating hair & makeup that brings someone to happy tears

  • Cleaning brushes and wiping crumbs off the studio chair

  • Dreaming big (then making it happen)

Things that bring me immense joy

belly laughing with friends • kitchen discos • reading to my girls • cups of tea • date nights • dog walks on cold but sunny days • fitness classes that play loud music • visiting the seaside • homemade touches • almond croissants • scented candles • pizza & prosecco nights • craft projects • tarot readings • fresh bed sheets • road trips • kind people • handwritten notes • cozy nights in • my dressing gown • cute pet reels • a clean house • giving people compliments • daffodils • watching the sunset • good hair days •

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”
— Jamie Anderson

In 2017, I lost my dad and it changed my life forever.

Grief has this way of stripping life back to what matters. It’s changed the way I show up, the way I hold space for people and funnily enough it is the one thing that gave me the courage to go forward with dreams of my own business.

Suddenly, everything I did had to mean more. I began to truly understand how life is made up of fleeting moments.

Don’t get me wrong, you’ll hear me chat about my favourite make up products but I’ll also ask how you’re really doing - it isn’t just about helping you look your best, one of my life missions is to make people feel seen, supported and celebrated. It’s literally the whole meaning of life.
