✨ Meet S
My naturally beautiful bride S married Mr. S in the stunning grounds of Warbrook House in Eversley, Hampshire. I’ve known S for years as she is a regular beauty client of mine, so I already had a good idea of her personality and style. As someone who works with children, S never usually wears makeup day-to-day, so I knew her bridal look needed to feel natural, elegant, and comfortable – while still being special enough for such an important occasion. From the beginning, she was clear that she wanted her wedding vibe to be timeless and elegant, with her love for black-and-white photography playing a big role.
Her dress was a classic, so she wanted a bridal look to reflect that. In her pre-trial questionnaire, she described her dream style as “soft bridal glam with a sleek low bun.”
✨ The Bridal Vision

Lashes: At her trial, she experimented with eyelash extensions but on the day opted for individual cluster lashes, which gave a softer, more natural finish – and she was so much happier with the result.
💄 Creating the Look
I created a flawless, radiant base using lightweight layers of one of my favourite foundations – NARS Natural Radiant Longwear. It photographs beautifully while still looking natural in person.For the eyes, we kept things soft and understated, adding a subtle contour and finishing with a pop of shimmer to bring them alive. Her brows framed the look perfectly, and the cluster lashes added just the right amount of definition.
For her hair, I prepped it into a smooth low ponytail, using padding to add shape and fullness before creating a sleek bun. The style was finished with plenty of hold to last all day, while still feeling elegant and timeless.
🌸 Wedding Day Details
The wedding took place at Warbrook House, Hampshire, with a black-and-white colour scheme that felt both classic and chic. Bridesmaids wore elegant black dresses, while guests were invited to wear vibrant spring colours, creating a stunning contrast throughout the day.
One of the most memorable moments for me was being invited to attend S’s ceremony – something I’ve never been asked before as a bridal hair and makeup artist. Slipping into the back of the ceremony room just before S entered was incredibly moving, and I was so touched to witness not only a client, but a dear friend, marry her best friend. (And of course, the adorable ring bearer stole the show!)

I honestly don’t even know where to begin – Ruby made my wedding day unforgettable. From the moment I booked my wedding date in with Ruby, she brought a sense of calm and warmth that instantly put me at ease. Her talent is beyond words – she truly made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my life.
She listened to exactly what I envisioned and made changes where necessary, added her own expert touch, and the result was pure perfection. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night (through happy tears, dancing, and everything in between!) and looked flawless in every single photo.
But more than that, as Ruby is a friend, having her by my side meant the world. Her energy is radiant, her attention to detail is unmatched, and she made the whole getting-ready experience so special. I can’t imagine the day without her!
