Almost half of your wedding day is spent with the make up artist & hair stylist that you pick. Liking my work and my style is one thing, but liking me is quite important too! my STYLE
Your bridal make up and hair trial will take place at my home studio which is situated just outside of Yateley, Hampshire. This serene space allows us as much time as we need to discuss ideas, dreams and of course get to work on your bridal hair and make up vision!
I like to collaborate with brides as much as possible, I will always happily give expert advice but i really want to be lead by what would make you feel the most 'you'. Luckily I send all my brides a trial pack a few weeks ahead of the trial to get inspiration flowing.
Whether you have a clear vision or you need more direction, trials are the perfect time to get to know one another and create the wedding look of your dreams!

When the day arrives, I’m here to help you feel confident and beautiful. I will arrive to your chosen bridal prep location according to the schedule which i will provide you with ahead of time. This is the moment to sit and enjoy all the preparation that has gone into the day, surrounded by your chosen people. Rest assured that there is never a rush, larger bridal parties will be taken care of by my very trusted support artists.
Your time in the hair and make up chair is one of the few chances you will get throughout the day to sit and be present, soak it all in. Past brides have told me how much this time helped calm nerves and ground them, so get comfy and breathe it all in.
Supporting you through this beautiful milestone in your life is an honour I never take for granted.

From the first contact I had with Ruby she was just brilliant. Ruby has a way of putting you at ease and she made me feel so comfortable. She listened to all the ideas I had and all the things I was concerned about and made my wedding vision come to life. I’m very fair and don’t really wear make up so was worried about looking over done and unnatural, Ruby totally understood this and put the most natural look together for me. It was so lovely to have her be part of our special day, it was such a relaxed morning even though she had 3 children’s hair to get done as well as mine and my maid of honours. Ruby was an absolute dream to have doing my makeup, Ruby was exactly who I needed the morning of my wedding! She understood exactly what I was after, creating a beautiful natural look for me. The compliments have still not stopped! She calmed any nerves I had and made me and my bridesmaids feel 10/10. I couldn’t recommend Ruby enough for your wedding hair & makeup. I was lucky enough to have Ruby do mine plus 6 bridesmaids hair for my wedding and she was just amazing. Not only is she a gorgeous human- inside and out- that will make you feel so relaxed on the day but leading up to the wedding, everything was so organised, clear communication throughout and most importantly, I trusted her entirely with my hair vision. She brought my wedding hair dreams to life
Ready to book?
Due to the nature of my studio being at home, there are likely to be dogs and children present, they are however kept in a separate part of the house to avoid disturbance. They are all fairly well behaved, however you may spot the occasional head popping out the end of the hallway. If you are allergic to dogs (or kids) please let me know prior to your appointment so I can ensure they are kept well out the way.
5. Do I get to meet your kids or your dog?
I am so fortunate to have a beautiful home studio that I work from. This is where I host all my trials. Travelling to my studio for your trial makes the trial process run a lot smoother generally, I can have everything set up and ready to go on arrival and I know that my studio has adequate lighting, seating and equipment needed to do my best work. I do travel out for trials occasionally under excpetional circumstances, but I do ask that you come to me where possible.
4. Do you travel to me for my trial?
I am so pleased to say that I take this longwinded job off your hands! If you are booking your hair and make up through me, I will provide you with a wedding morning schedule after our trial. As a rough idea, I usually allow 1 hour per service for the bride and 45 per service for guests. This can change depending on what hair and make up style you opt for.
3. How do I work out the timings for my wedding morning?
I do. For peak wedding dates, I do require a minimum booking number. If this is not met, I do charge a peak date fee. Off peak dates and other exclusions do apply. I do not have a maximum booking thanks to my amazing network of trusted artists, I am able to work on weddings of all sizes. (I think my record was Bride + 10 guests!)
2. Do you have a minimum or maximum booking?
I am based in Camberley, Hampshire. I tend to cover Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and London from time to time. Although I do travel further afield, I charge 45p per mile from my home address when travelling to you on your wedding day. This will be incorporated into your quote. I do ask for any journeys that are over 2hours that accomodation is offered. Due to the nature of weddings and the early start times.
